About us
A safe, compassionate home for women, children and families
Zwelitsha Women and Children Support Centre was established to make caring, confidential support easy to reach for people facing difficult circumstances.

Who we are
We are a community-based centre serving women, children and families through protection, practical assistance, guidance and community programmes. Our team includes support workers, referral partners and trained volunteers.
Our Mission
To provide confidential, compassionate and practical support that protects women and children, strengthens families and creates safer communities.
Our Vision
A community where every woman and child can live with dignity, safety, opportunity and hope.
Our values
Our story
The centre was established in response to a growing community need for accessible, confidential support for vulnerable women and children. What began as a small volunteer-led response has grown into a coordinated centre offering crisis intervention, empowerment programmes, referrals and community outreach across the district.
We work in close partnership with social workers, health services, schools, faith groups, legal partners and government departments to make sure that anyone who reaches out is met with warmth and connected to appropriate help.
